Exclusive Irish Mimaki distributor, Hybrid Services, will be part of this month’s inaugural Wide Format Ireland event, to be held at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel in Dublin from Wednesday 24th to Thursday 25th October.
Dave Rainsford is general manager for Hybrid in Ireland and will be part of the team on hand during the show which is set to feature manufacturers and industry suppliers including material distributor, Soyang Europe, Solent Sewing (with the Miller Weldmaster range of finishing equipment), leading dye sublimation solutions provider, I-Sub, and long established sign and graphics reseller, Reprocentre alongside other big names.
“There has been a lack of trade shows in the Irish market of late,” observes Rainsford, who will be attending the event to provide help and advice to consumers. “This is a fantastic opportunity to meet a variety of industry leaders under one roof and take advantage of the information and guidance on offer. If you’re looking for an easy way to evaluate wide format technologies then this is it!”
Rainsford is keen to demonstrate the breadth of the Mimaki range’s capabilities during the exhibition; “You’d be surprised by the features and size of our range,” he commented. “I really feel that we’re unique in that we have a machine to cater for almost all wide format needs, from dye sublimation, outdoor durable and latex inks to UV curable; we have it covered.”
Hybrid will be showing several products capable of a wide variety of applications, including Mimaki’s award winning printer-cutter and the latest dye-sublimation technology.
There are many benefits for those considering investing in wide format and Rainsford explained how it can help their business. “Wide format printing is still very much a growth industry – it has so many applications that companies can benefit from,” he says. “Be it ecologically friendly ‘soft signage’ or pop-up and POS applications – we’ve also got great solutions for producing wallpaper, canvas and banner prints as well as vehicle graphics. There are so many areas where our existing customers are still growing and investing.”
Rainsford is enthusiastic about the role Hybrid plays. “We’re much more than a machine distributor,” he added. “We’re here to ensure our resellers and end users have the best experience, support and training possible, maximising their investment in Mimaki. Events such as Wide Format Ireland allow people to get a unique overview of all that Hybrid and Mimaki have to offer.”
